Abstrak: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the red lipstick sold in the market Pasar Raya Padang containing rhodamine B. The samples were randomly taken from the market with five (5) red lipsticks samples with notification number (NA) and the other five (5) red lipsticks samples without notification number (NA). The identification of Rhodamine B in the sample by using thin layer chromatography method and the type of this research is qualitative research. The results of samples identification with thin layer chromatography method is as follow: a). Five samples of red lipstick rthat does not have notification number (NA) showed one  lipstick sample (code A) containing Rhodamine B as the standard distance of Rhodamine B is equal or parallel with the  difference of sample’s Rf and raw Rf less than or equal 0.2. Meanwhile the other four lipstick samples (code B, C, D, E) does not contain Rhodamine B b). Five samples of red lipstick with notification number (code F, G, H, I, and J) showed not contain Rhodamine B as  Rhodamine B standard distance of and raw is not equal or not parallel with the difference between the sample’s Rf and raw Rf is more than 0.2.

Paket Lengkap Citra Terapi Kombinasi Ranitidin Dengan Sukralfat Dan Ranitidin Dengan Antasida Dalam Pengobatan Gastritis Di Smf Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Umum Tempat (Rsud) Ahmad Mochtar Bukittinggi


Abstrak: Gastritis is the most common disease found in the community. Everyday frequently we can find patients with upper gastrointestinal problems visit health installation service to cure their disease, such as pain problems or burning sensation in epigastrum area, sometimes followed by regurgitation, stomach heartburn, bloating sensation and early satiety. In gastritis medications, a single therapy is usually preferred,  but there are also some using the combination of two drugs. The common drugs being used is based on gastritis conditions level. In this research, the observed drug combination were ranitidine with sucralfat and ranitidine with antacids. The description of drugs used was being judged based on clinical symptoms and endoscopy examination. The confirmed gastritis patients were divided into two groups. Afterwards, the patient were given the therapy( ranititidine and sucralfat) and (ranitidine and antacids) for two weeks. After 4 months since the therapy was being given, the evaluations of patients conditions was done, including the pain in gastrointestinal tract, nausea, regurgitate, smarting before and after meal, burning sensation in the stomach, early satiety and bloating. From evaluations examinations in to the two groups, we founds the results that in groups I  the complaint was dissolved about 100 % and in groups II was about 80 %.

Paket Lengkap Studi Sistem Dispersi Padat Ibuprofen – Manitol Dengan Metode Pelarutan


Abstrak: Study of solid dispersions of ibuprofen-manitol by solvent method had been researched. Solid dispersions made in 4 ratio formula, F1; F2; F3 and F4 with ibuprofen-manitol ratio  3: 1, 2: 2, 1: 3, and 0.5: 3.5. Evaluation of solid dispersions of Ibuprofen - Manitol include x-ray diffraction (XRD), FT-IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), assay and dissolution test. Results of X-ray diffraction solid dispersion system showed a decrease in intensity of the degree of crystalline ibuprofen. SEM characterization results indicated ibuprofen morphological changes towards more amorphous.

Paket Lengkap Penetapan Kadar Natrium Benzoat Pada Cabe Giling Halus (Capsicum Annuum Linn.) Secara Spektrofotometri Uv-Vis


Abstrak: The reseacrh about identification and assay of sodium benzoate content in fine milled chilli taken from three locations which were Pasar  Ibuh Payakumbuh, Pasar Bawah Bukittinggi  and  Pasar Raya Padang had been done, two samples were taken from each location. It was found that three samples gave positive indication by esterification reaction to the presence of sodium benzoate in samples. Assay of sodium benzoate in samples after extraction with ether as a solvent were carried out using ultraviolet spectrophotometer. The benzoic acid content of the positive samples were found to be in the range of 0.811-0.976 g/kg. This amount of benzoic acid content fine milled chilli samples were below the maximum amount allowedaccording to the rule  stated by to National Agency of Drug and Food Control Republic of Indonesia No. 36/2013 which was 1 g/kg, so it was safe to consume.

Paket Lengkap Pengembangan Dan Validasi Metode Analisis Ranitidin Hidroklorida Tablet Dengan Metode Absorbansi Dan Luas Kawasan Di Bawah Kurva Secara Spektrofotometri Ultraviolet


Abstrak: Development and validation of methods of analysis of ranitidine hydrochloride tablets have been done by absorbance method and the method of the area under the curve by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. This study use the principle of calculation of absorbance and the area under the curve obtained from the measurement of the analyte solution by using UV-Vis spectrophotometer and distilled water as the selected solvent. Linearity ranitidine hydrochloride obtained in the concentration range of 6 - 14 ppm with correlation coefficient value by absorbance and the area under curve method respectively 0.99943 and 0.99947. Results of the study showed that the samples of generic ranitidine hydrochloride tablets obtained by absorbance method and the area under curve method was 99.57 ± 0.001 % and 103.30 ± 0.001 %. The average percent recovery obtained by the absorbance and the area under curve method was 98.31 % and 95.39 %. While the research results for the samples of Gasela tablets obtained by the absorbance and the area under curve method was 96.98 ± 0.002 % and 104.33 ± 0.009 %. The average percent recovery obtained by the absorbance method and the area under each curve was 98.89 % and 94.78 %.

Paket Lengkap Pengembangan Dan Validasi Metode Analisis Tablet Furosemid Dengan Metode Absorbansi Dan Luas Kawasan Di Bawah Kurva Secara Spektrofotometri Ultraviolet


Abstrak: Development and validation of analysis methods of furosemide tablet have been done by absorbance method and area under the curve methods using ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Linearity of pure furosemide was obtained with range concentration 8 - 18 ppm. Coefficient correlations absorbance and area under curve methods were 0.99999 and 0.99725 respectively. The percentage of stated content were determined, which were compared with Gralixa Furosemide tablets and generic furosemid tablets. The results showed that the percentage of stated content from Gralixa tablet with absorbance and the area under curve methods were 99,33 % ± 0,004 and 98,44 % ± 0,003 and the recovery were 98,75 % and 97,88 % respectively. While the research results showed that the percentage of stated content from generic furosemide tablets with absorbance and area under curve methods were 98,42 % ± 0,005 and 97,78 % ± 0,008 and the recovery were 98,61 % and 95,06 %. Statistical analysis proves that the method is reproducible and selective for the analysis of furosemide.

Paket Lengkap Uji Toksisitas Akut Ekstrak Etanol Daun Kirinyuh (Chromolaenodorata (L) R.M.King & H. Rob) Pada Mencit Putih Jantan


Abstrak: A research on the acute toxicity of ethanol extracts of leaves kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata (L) R.M.King & H.Rob). Parameters observed toxicity is LD50 and delayed toxic effects for 14 days of observation including changes in weight, the volume of water consumption, and the relative weight of the organs of the heart, liver, kidneys, stomach and lungs. The extract ethanol leaves kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata (L) R.M King & H.Rob) orally at a dose of 4 g/kgBB, 8 g/kgBB and 16 g/kgBB, showed that the ethanol extract of leaves kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata (L) R.M King & H.Rob) categorized practically non-toxic (LD50> 15 g/kgBB). Delayed toxic effects are seen from the significant differences in body weight, the volume of water, relative organ weight of lung and stomach (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the relative organ weight of the heart, liver and kidneys (P<0.05).
